We start by carefully hatching black soldier fly eggs hatch into larvae. From there, the larvae are transferred onto trays with organic waste for a period of 3 weeks.
During this time the larvae feed off the organic waste and, in a matter of hours, transform it into protein for animal feed and frass (organic fertilizer).
The larvae's excrement contains high levels of protein, calcium and lipids that aid in an animal’s health. It also contains nitrogen, which can be effectively applied to improve the health and well-being of plants and soil.
